BIRMINGHAM BADMINTON BONANZA EVENTS
1 Players who have been a member of a National Squad at any age in any country are not eligible to compete in the Yehlex Bonanza.
2 Players who have played league/tournament badminton are not eligible to enter any social categories. Players may only enter one standard throughout their chosen events (Social OR League/Tournament)
3 In the Junior categories, players graded 1 or 2 are not eligible to compete. The qualifying date for age group events will be Friday 8th August 2008.
4 Players entering ‘Partner Wanted’ will be paired if a partner is available. Both players in a doubles event must submit an entry form with the appropriate entry fees (photocopies will be accepted).
5 Players may enter one event in the morning and one in the afternoon on each day (see overleaf) if otherwise eligible. Juniors entering adult events must pay the appropriate adult entry fee.
6 The Referee reserves the right not to hold an event if insufficient entries are received and to limit numbers in any event. The date entries are received will be taken into account. You will be notified by Tuesday 5th August if your entry has been accepted and any change to start times listed. If such notification has not been received please ring 01908 268400.
7 All events will be played in groups with winners going through to a knockout stage.
8 Yehlex feathered shuttlecocks will be used.
10 Entry Fees must accompany your entry form. Cheques or Postal Orders must be made payable to ‘BADMINTON England’.
11 All events will be played using rally points scoring. There will be no coaching or intervals during play.
12 The Referees decision in all matters is final.
