Result: Cornwall 23 Devon 13

A very close fought match, starting with the boys singles drawing at 3 rubbers each, with Luke Bovey making his debut from the U15s with a strong win over his opponent. The Cornish girls however were slightly stronger in the singles, with Charlotte Hawkins the only Devon girl to win. Kat Taylor and Georgina Ward were unlucky, having gone to 3 games and just missing out by a few points. The boys doubles and the girls doubles both lost 5-4, however this does not do justice to the closeness of the games, with 4 of the rubbers going to 5 games. Once again Like Bovey, with his partner Ann-Marie Walsh, showed great determination to win the only mixed for Devon. I feel this match could have been won by Devon with a bit more luck.
